PrinceJaeO
PrinceJaeO grew up in a musical environment. His father owned "Luke's Bar". A bar that played alot of live music. He spent endless hours in the bar with his family, and during the days he and his cousins would play around with the different instruments left on the stage. By the age of 13 he had formed a band and started making his own original music.
2001: Release of "Hollowman". Recorded and mixed by Ian Greenwood. The album began in Pueblo, Co in 1999.
2004: Release of "Correspondence". Teaming up with friend Larkin Matoon know as Acher. The concept behind the album was their return home. Both friends had spent the last few years outside of there home town of Missoula.
2005: Release of "Payback". More the style of "Hollowman". This album portrayed alot of anger. It was the song "Like Poetry" that gained JaeO a little more notoriety.
2006: Release of "Tha Takeover". It was in late 2005, when a earlier altercation sparked up conversation between JaeO & RBIZ. Over the next year the discussion of a duo cd came up. They recorded and released "Tha Takeover" knowing it had to crush all local land marks. Releasing the album at the historic Wilma Theater was huge. Quoted by Mark Dinerstein at the Knitting Factory "That was headliner status". This album would gain minor national attention. RBIZ & JaeO became Winners of the I. A. R. award (Independent Artist Registry) in 2007. It would be short lived. 2008 would bring the year of tests. Just into the year RBIZ would step away from the mic for personal issues. Leaving all tour plans abandoned.
2008: Featured on "Outside da-Box Productions Mixtape Vol. 1". This mixtape was compiled with unreleased music from the recordings of "Tha Takeover" & some long awaited collaborations from other local & regional artists such as: James Two, Young Jay, JaeOne, & Fate'Al of Paleface.
2008: Produced "Dirty Technology" from Acher. JaeO began recording "Dirty Technology" Acher's seconnd solo album in June of 2007. Releasing the underground earthquake on 9/11/08. The navy veteran, Acher, unleashed his lyrical abilities onto his listeners. Touching on topics that the average listener may over look.
"Numerica" The anticipated new album from Exigh was due to be released on 11/11/08. That release date has been pushed back. Working on 2009 tour dates. The EP should be out before summer break.
